Busy Doing Art Fairs & Art Shows

I was too busy exhibiting my paintings and joining art fairs and gallery shows. Just now I got a chance to write to share with you what I had been doing and experience. I went to different art shows and art fairs from October, November and December all which came to be successful. A lot of people were amazed to see my work! Not only that they admired my painting technique but they also felt something within by seing my work. I should say they had experienced something internal not only the exterior beauty of the work. On top of these busy art shows I've been creating new original paintings to add to my art collection mostly big size canvases. One of the art that I just finished is the above original painting "Orchid Show" in acrylic painting on stretched canvas, aprox. 4.5 ft. x 2.5 ft., unframe, $695.00 plus shipping cost.

Sold Orchids Original Painting

I have not been blogging for a long time already! Sorry for not doing it frequently as before. The good news is I've joined a couple of art expositions. Just recently I was invited to join the Plaza Del Sol Art Expo for fours days in the city of San Jose, Costa Rica. It was a success! I sold a couple of original paintings and prints.

Few weeks before this I was at the International Art Festival held at La Sabana, San Jose, Costa Rica. One of the highlight in my show is this original painting of white orchids on a tree done in acrylic in triptych huge canvases. Everybody who stop by and visited my booth loved this painting. In a very short time during the show this piece was sold with a handsome price tag. Currently I am working on a similar piece commissioned by a family who is going to give it as a gift to their mother. I will be finishing this in a few days.

My Paintings In Art Expo

I have been busy these days attending one of the biggest art festival
here in Costa Rica, "International Art Festival" in La Sabana, San Jose,
Costa Rica, April 11-20, 2008. For those of you who might be wondering
where is Jude, this is where I am stuck at this point. I am meeting new
prospects and selling my original paintings and prints. It is a fun thing
to do as an artist. I've learned a lot also on how to sell my art in the
public and in what way I can improve my art in the creative and the business
side. Above is one of the original painting that I sold last year's art fair.
Similar to this painting I sold a huge one the other day at this current
art exhibition, but with white orchids instead of purple ones, in acrylic
and in size format triptych.
